“I have always had a great passion for food and drink, but it was whilst training under one of the UK’s greatest sommeliers and Master of Wine, Gerard Basset, when I really developed my love of the grape. Wine is part of my life. I have won a number of national and European competitions and I regularly provide advice and commentary on all aspects of the world of wine, including writing a weekly newspaper column.
